Supporting the Arts
Michael has always been a strong supporter and advocate for the arts in Peterborough. He is excited to be participating in this all-candidate event focusing on the value and importance of the arts and culture sector, and how he would encourage its development and sustainability. There will be a panel of four arts experts and arts supporters posing questions.
The municipal arts council, the Electric City Culture Council (EC3) is an independent, not-for-profit service organization that supports arts organizations and individual artists in Peterborough and Peterborough County. EC3 provides funding, strategic leadership, advocacy, research, professional development, mentorships, residencies, festivals and partnerships that build capacity and strengthen the arts sector.
